After living in Japan for many years and return trips after returning to the U.S., I decided it was time to see Shikoku.
Starting at Osaka, I crossed the Inland Sea on the series of bridges called Seto Ohashi to Takamatsu. On May 28 I retraced my steps and returned to Okayama to see the streetcars and the castle. Then it was back across the bridge and on to Matsuyama.
From Matsuyama, I took a ferry to Kure and a train to Hiroshima.
